Eurasian water shrew

The Eurasian water shrew is a small insectivorous mammal found along rivers, ponds, and marshy ground. Distinguished by its dark fur, pale underbelly, and venomous bite, it feeds on aquatic invertebrates and small fish. Its presence indicates clean water, making it a useful bioindicator for freshwater habitat quality.

How do I order testing?
The first step is to order sampling kits in our shop. You can also order your testing at the same time but this is optional. You can always order your testing after you have taken the sample and before you send the sample to us.
What options are available to pay for my kits and testing?
We accept multiple payment options. When you purchase kits or testing you can prepay with a credit or debit card, or you can enter a purchase order number so that we can invoice you. If you choose invoicing we reserve the right to request payment before the release of results for your first order.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that things change. You can cancel your testing order at any point before the samples arrive at our laboratory. Once the samples have been booked in to our lab no cancellation is possible. See our terms and conditions for more information.
How do I register my samples for submission?
For TaxaScreen qPCR testing and TaxaReveal metabarcoding testing the sampling kit you receive has a unique barcode. When it comes to register your sample and it's details you will need this number. All you need to do is log in to our client portal, click "Activate", and then follow the instructions.
How does billing work?
Once you have placed your order an invoice is available immediately to download from the order confirmation page. We will also send this to you via email when we dispatch your sampling kits. For separate testing orders we will send the invoice to you via email once your sample has been booked in to the laboratory.
